  • Trump signs Executive Order 13782: Revocation of Federal Contracting Executive Orders
  • 2017 March 27 – It is announced that the Senate Intelligence Committee wants to question Jared Kushner (Son-in-law of Donald trump) over meetings with Russian ambassador, Sergey Kislyak and executives of Vnesheconombank (VEB), Russia’s State-owned development bank. The United States had previously placed VEB on its sanctions list in 2014 following the annexation of Crimea by the Russian Federation. Sergei Gorkov, the chairman of VEB was present. Gorkov was appointed head of VEB in 2016 and was a previous member of the Federal Security Service, or FSB, Russia’s internal security agency.   • Trump signs Executive Order 13783: Revocation of Federal Contracting Executive Orders, which removes a directive to consider climate change during deliberations under the National Environmental Policy Act
  • White House Press Secretary Sean denies allegations that the White House attempted to prevent former acting Attorney general Sally Yates from testifying to the House Intelligence Committee APT – Trump and Russia

Day 69 – Mar-29

  • Trump signs Executive Order 13784: Establishing the President’s Commission on Combating Drug Addiction and the Opioid Crisis
  • Federal Judge Derrick Watson converts the temporary restraining order on President Trump’s travel ban (Executive Order 13780) into an indefinite preliminary injunction, citing evidence of a religious objective in violation of the Establishment Clause APT – Muslim ban

  • The US Department of Justice issues a statement that it disagrees with Federal Judge Derrick Watson’s ruling on March 29 regarding Executive order 13780 APT – Muslim ban
